|About Us||MIT China Care and Boston University China Care Fund are student-run organizations dedicated to creating life changing opportunities for Chinese orphans and locally adopted Chinese children.|
History of BU-MIT Dumplings Playgroups
Beginning Fall of 2011, MIT China Care's Mentorship Committee in partnership with Boston University China Care Fund (BUCCF) has been holding collaborative Dumplings Playgroups for adopted Chinese children and their families from the Greater Boston and Cambridge area. The BU-MIT bi-monthly sessions are held at the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC), a non-profit organization well known for its community program offerings. Additionally, the Chinatown location makes it easy to experience rich Chinese culture through dining and shopping. Overall this program will enable the local China Care members to experience firsthand how their involvement positively impacts the Boston and Cambridge community.
