Beijing Opera Playgroup

This was the first joint playgroup held by Boston University China Care Fund (BUCCF) and MIT China Care's Mentorship Committee, at the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC)! Find out more about our collaboration on our Playgroups page.
This time, the theme was Beijing Opera! After briefly covering the history of Beijing Opera and performing a puppet show of the first part of the story of the Monkey King, a popular Chinese tale, the children made opera-inspired masks and and headdresses.
